might be a bit late to post but try the mass air flow sensor. i had the same problem last week, car wouldnt rev past 5k changed the sensor and its fine

i sanded mine down, finished with 2500 grit, then polished with G6 and G3, i laqcuered one and left the other uncoated, come out nice

are there any fault codes/lights on the dash? whats the fuel consumption like as i had to change a lambda sensor when mine started running rough with flatspots and wanting to stall.

Does anyone have any more info regarding the older type servo/mc? are the servos the same on new and old types or are is that different too? thanks again
