Yeah, I think so - mine runs like a new car (and looks like one - thanks to hours of machine polishing and detail geekiness).
Spent so much getting it running completely perfectly. Convincing myself to keep it now, lol
Got a few offers, some a joke, but someone tonight's emailed and seems keen...
Mine is 95k but really mint - spent tonnes of time and money getting her that way but impending family change means something more 'daily driver' needed - the rear seats in Pumas are a joke :)
Thanks Jacko... It is whining since being rebuilt! Had new bearings, new second gear, machine s2 erst diff (which they struggled with as needed modification)
Hi guys
Recently had a new clutch on the FRP, complete with gearbox rebuild and LSD fitted.
Noticed today (day before a trackday, of course) a rattle coming from the car when idling and the clutch pedal up - when pressed down it goes?
I also have a slight transmission whine which I presume is...
Jacko - mine need doing urgently so I guess I'm gonna have to go Eldude, unless you've managed to move this along at all?
BTW, your recently anodized calipers look incredible!
That's fine thanks mate - I've ordered it now so I guess if it doesn't fit I'll have to return it or fleabay it
Should be interesting to see whether the doomsayers are right around reducing performance.
The kit I've gone for is a Quickshift stainless filter with stainless steel heatshielding...
More simply, is the FRP and Puma's inlet the same (ie do induction cones fit both - the difference being only the bracket?)
Please confirm as I've ordered a sheilded kit and it is made for a 'standard' puma....
Thanks Red
I asked on PumaPpl but all I got was opinions on changing the OEM induction setup, rather than the answer I was after....
Appreciate your help
Rob
