mine pushes against the brake res but has never caused an issue but if you can get a smaller one would be better, other optios i thought about were to add some washers between the brace and strut top or get the grinder out the strut brace in that area
this is my solution, not exactly light weight! It has given a problem with ground clearance but its in line with the lowest point on the exhaust which kept getting knocked off but i now have piece of mind im not going to take the sump off!

i have ran 205s all round before and they provide more grip in conering and breaking and less wheelspin in low gears but it feels less nippy and i get a little bit of contact on the front inner wing on full lock
another good tip- for the drive belt (not cambelt) put 2 x cable ties together looped round engine mount and you can hook spanner in to hold the tensioner fully off and wind the belt on the crank pulley, couldnt have done it on my own with only 2 hands otherwise.
