After owning my Puma for 18 months the revs started hanging a couple of days ago sometimes as high as 4000 rpm which is not good at traffic lights/roundabouts, I searched the forum for a cure and tried the free fix first which has been mentioned on the forums. I disconnected my battery for 30...
1 Handling.
2 Fantastic looking car I wanted one ever since the first time I saw one, a red 1.7 on Guide roundabout Blackburn.
3 Acceleration, brings a big grin to my face.
Some nice Puma's in there but I don't like the green one's or the Puma's with ugly black steel wheels. The purple Puma looks interesting. Thanks for the link Frank. 8-)

Ran into a problem changing the lower arms, the drivers side went on no problem but the passenger side front bolt rounded off it was so tight. :x I don't have access to a welder or blowtorch so can anyone advise me how I can remove the rounded off bolt? :?
I will be replacing all the bolts...
Nice simple to understand guide, I will be replacing my lower arms today.
I have read somewhere that the car should be on the ground before the bolts are fully torqued up but I would have thought there wouldn't be room to get at them unless the car was lowered onto a block to give some...
Thanks for this guide it helped me a lot. I replaced my bushes with poly ones from Problem Solving Bushing (PSB), at a cost of £27.90 + free postage. They went in very easily and have tightened up the backend and the ride isn't harsh. :-)
I had this problem today and I bridged the reverse light switch cable and my reverse lights worked. I bought a new reverse light switch for £9.07 and now they are working fine, by the way I fitted the switch from above after removing the air filter trunking.
