    hey guys need a few parts that most people would bin etc engine mount studs and nuts and one fuel tank bolt fixing clip one of mine rusted so much it just snapped so had to use a pair of grips to get the bolt out also the advice in the rear wheel wells there looks to be like "skirts"...

    highly agreed! I've grinded a lot of surface rust away from the beam! looks so much better and removed that silly thing in the middle.

    Body repair recommendations

    look towards classic car restorers rather than your everyday bodyshop as most of them only accept simple repairs or insurance jobs. classic restorers will know how to restore a car properly and help protect it better than factory could. and even provide a better paint finish that factory

    UPDATE: for anyone wanting to know how to get stuck poly bushes out, the rear beam will have to come off, you will need a big hammer and muscles, and another body to help hold down the beam! just need the momentum and force to wack them out and they can come out! just managed to get mine out...

    I don't think they were or any grease of that matter as I can see rust around some of the bushes as I bent them back a little! so i'll try with some wd40 and buy a bigger mallet!

    the show is owned by an American company velocity which explains that and if the previous owner did buy it back, he just basically paid for work that no one else could do or as you said used his car to make a mark got all the work done and paid them for labour and parts

    Quick question guys about bush removal I've got polyflex purple bushes in at the moment and I would to to remove them and replace them with the black series bushes! But the purple ones are being right buggers to get out and the removal tool I've bought is no use as it's just squashing the bush...
