I got some koni coilovers an old set at that will require servicing and repair, still a few places still sort these out got them on ebay for £175, paid more for them but just need them gone. plus they are a good set for track days!
i'm not too sure about a rear facing one, but forward facing one i highly recommend the recaro young sport! selt belt fixing nice and easy, and my daughter finds it so comfy she can easily sleep in it no problem! good for long journeys etc. recaro have further improved the design on it so no...
hey guys
need a few parts that most people would bin etc
engine mount studs and nuts
and one fuel tank bolt fixing clip one of mine rusted so much it just snapped so had to use a pair of grips to get the bolt out
also the advice
in the rear wheel wells there looks to be like "skirts"...
look towards classic car restorers rather than your everyday bodyshop as most of them only accept simple repairs or insurance jobs.
classic restorers will know how to restore a car properly and help protect it better than factory could. and even provide a better paint finish that factory
UPDATE:
for anyone wanting to know how to get stuck poly bushes out, the rear beam will have to come off, you will need a big hammer and muscles, and another body to help hold down the beam!
just need the momentum and force to wack them out and they can come out! just managed to get mine out...
I've got a few parts:
powerflex purple rear beam bushes
omp rear strut brace brand new just mocked up
i do have koni coilovers but they need a proper rebuild and already found out its a fair amount of money to sort them out
I don't think they were or any grease of that matter as I can see rust around some of the bushes as I bent them back a little! so i'll try with some wd40 and buy a bigger mallet!
the show is owned by an American company velocity which explains that
and if the previous owner did buy it back, he just basically paid for work that no one else could do
or as you said used his car to make a mark got all the work done and paid them for labour and parts
Quick question guys about bush removal I've got polyflex purple bushes in at the moment and I would to to remove them and replace them with the black series bushes! But the purple ones are being right buggers to get out and the removal tool I've bought is no use as it's just squashing the bush...
Use bigg red, I had a full set of st170 calipers refurbed by them. After calculating the costs of what it would be to get the calipers stripped and powdercoated and to buy the refurb kits it pretty much was about equal pricing if not a little bit less but you can count that down as labour
When paint is that bad is needs stripping down to the base coat possibly primer. As that's a typical sign of baked paint, where over time the surface is subjected to a lot of sun and heat and the lacquer fails after many many years of doing it's job.
Depending on how far it's been affected...
unfortunately those panels will need repainting, as above its the lacquer failing over long periods of being baked under direct sun. so it all needs sanding back and repainting.
either that or you can get them wrapped instead cheaper alternative?
