Brake calliper refurbishment

Hi\
Any one out there had their calipers professionally refurbished.
If so, where did you get them done and what metal finish was applied to the caliper.

I have refurbished them myself with a kit from eBay. While everything was out I painted them gold and cleared them with a 2K lacquar. Is possible to do yourself if you have a compressor the remove the piston.

Or you can use a bycicle pump... I did as I didn't have a compressor and the pump did the trick as well :grin:

Use bigg red, I had a full set of st170 calipers refurbed by them. After calculating the costs of what it would be to get the calipers stripped and powdercoated and to buy the refurb kits it pretty much was about equal pricing if not a little bit less but you can count that down as labour
