Hi everyone,
I’m from Italy, sorry for my bad English.
I’ve searched on the forum but I haven’t found what i need.
I have the 240 front disk and the 180 drum brake. I have to replace all 4 brakes so can I use the 258 front disk and the 203 rear brakes?
For this upgrade I have to change calipers or hub or something else?

Thank you

The 258mm calipers are a direct fit, even using the same carrier as the 240mm. Realistically you won't feel much of an improvement, I didn't and went on to fit the fiesta st150 278mm calipers.

Ok thank you!
For now I’m not searching the maximum performance. My Puma is not in very good condition so for now I want only tu put it in normal or a little better than normal condition.

Even the rear brakes are a direct fit? Or it is better tu use the 180?

As far as I'm aware all puma rear drums are the same size, but i may be wrong.
The rear disc conversion isn't as easy from memory, if you want to keep the abs you need to machine the hubs to allow the wheel speed sensor tone ring to fit and the spindles to allow the actual sensor to fit correctly, different handbrake cables are needed and you need to use a different abs wheel speed sensor harness from a mk6 escort estate.

Ok really thank you. Rear disk conversion is too much for me. I’ve read that the after 2000 Puma have rear drums increase, but for avoid any problems I will install a stock drums.

Yeah looking into it you're right, to fit the later drums you'd have to change the back plates as well.

Well I have '97 Puma. Now fitting mondeo calipers in fornt with 300mm discks but for last year I was running standard setup with 240mm discks front and drums rear. My only advice with this setup to get better performance is just change front discks to grooved ones and consider changing pads. I ran 240mm grooved discks from ATE and EBC Yellow Stuff pads and it worked very well :) They will be avalible for sell in couple of weeks if you need a set, I bought them last year and only drove 800 km on them. Most in city driving conditions. DM me if you're interested :)
