    I would never pay £18000 for an engine my point was that someone must do the pistons & rings to suit it , personally I agree with you about the 1.6 short engine due to the fact they are readily available & probably pretty cheap

    yeah I believe that to be the case but when you read the add for that engine at puma build it says its a 1700cc Puma Block bored out to 2000cc

    howd u know when front bushes are knackered?

    mines clunks lots over bumpy roads so got new suspension arms & anti roll bar bushes as I hear these are the most common points of wear , although now you mention subframe I may have to investigate that :?

    judging by the pics it doesn't look deep have you tried rubbing compound ??? I used to use it for cutting back paint after resprays

    fuse keeps blowing

    it sounds like a wire in that circuit is going to ground check the obvious like hazard switch, horn switch & horn wiring & also wiring between hazard switch & relay ( if it doesn't do it when indicating it must be between hazard switch & relay)

    Might be selling my Puma for a 300ZX

    I used too work on 300 zx's when I was a panel beater the twin turbo can be tuned to ridiculous amounts of power but are very heavy cars & if they break they are expensive to put right

    I was thinking spacers due to cost but would need to look into the cost of frp suspension (sounds expensive)
