Lots of water trapped in sill !

When I pulled away this morning I could hear water gushing from the passenger side when I braked. When I looked out the rear window I could see a trail of water all the way out of the estate. It was coming out of the passenger side sill right next to the tyre (behind the carpet) Are there...

SORN'd Puma, what to do when starting it up?

Hello all, hope someone can help! My Puma has been off the road since October 2014 and only started a couple of times last year. I am moving house in a few weeks so I'll need to move it. It was serviced just before I took it off the road and it has plenty petrol in the tank. Is there anything in...

    Exhaust mounting Rubber help

Yeah I tried some GT lube but the end cap at the end of the hanger on the milltek exhaust seems way too big for the rubber to go over it.

    Exhaust mounting Rubber help

My Milltek exhaust hangs a bit low so I bought a polyurethane mounting rubber from pumabuild.com. The problem is the holes are much smaller and I can't get it to fit on the exhaust mount bit. I don't want to grind the end of the exhaust bit so do you think the new mount will be ok if I drill a...

Rob's Steel Blue Puma - First Car Project - Total Novice

It's been a very long time since I last posted, but there's been quite a bit of progress over the last few months. Firstly, back in march a neighbour reversed in to the door. He was adamant that he wanted to through his insurance instead of giving me £200 to repair (I think he felt so guilty)...

Rob's Steel Blue Puma - First Car Project - Total Novice

I noticed when washing the car there's little specs of rust appearing on some of the bits I resprayed. The Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 doesn't seem to have done a very good job. I'll probably wait till the better weather next year to have another go, and use a different rust inhibitor.

Rob's Steel Blue Puma - First Car Project - Total Novice

Thanks for that, I'll probably have to get a new rubber mount but I'll have a look underneath first.

Rob's Steel Blue Puma - First Car Project - Total Novice

I bought a milltek de-cat exhaust from a guy on PumaPeople. Got the local garage to fit as the bolts were ruined on the old one and I couldn't be bothered with the hassle. I'm not sure if the exhaust is hanging a bit low? Anyone else think it needs lifting a bit higher? Another photo after a...

Rob's Steel Blue Puma - First Car Project - Total Novice

I managed to get an ABS ring from Puma Bits. Got it fitted and passed its MOT. The car is so much quieter with the new bearings. I also got a Piper Cross induction kit from Puma Bits and fitted that yesterday. Thanks to CherryVimto for your help! Then a quick wash...

    Pipercross induction help

Hi, I bought a pipercross induction kit from ebay and it came with no instructions. Firstly, have I installed this small hose in the correct place, it was a bit of a struggle to get it on? Secondly, do I remove the bottom section of the airbox? Lastly, what do I connect the Pipercross filter...
