Saves messing around with swapping struts over, does anyone want my Puma as it stands? It's silver with 117k(IIRC), nothing inside bar a single virtually brand new Cobra Monaco Sprint seat and LUKE 4 point harness. Rear strut brace welded in, removed the back end of its sound deadening too...

So the time has come to break the Pumarse, I've been converted to Swedish power and need a big power 940 in my life, so I need some space! I've got AP coilovers on that I'll be selling but I need a set of standard struts to take their place so I can roll it down the drive! Idiot me chucking...

Has anyone done this without doing it via a remap?

I had a search but couldn't find anything. My mate will shortly be breaking an ST24 Mondingo, I'm buying the wheels off him (unsure if the offset will be correct mind you?) and said I could have the front/rear brakes for nothing. Will these fit? I know anything can be fitted with enough work...

Is it me or does first seem a little, sluggish? Had a bit of an enthusiastic pull away earlier and I was a little disappointed! Pulls well in every other gear :?

I'll get pictures later, but after fitting my AP coilies, I noticed the rear top mounts have a good 5-6mm gap between the top mount and the turret itself. Any ideas on why this is? The nut is as far down it'll go, so there must be something adrift somewhere.

I'm about to order some new wheels for the Pumarse, and wondered what you prefer. Be it because of tyre prices or whatever reason. I'm thinking of staying on 15's, I know brakes are an issue under them but I'm thinking of going with some Wilwood calipers at some point so can run a 280mm disc or...

What size do you run and what tyres do you swear by? Looking at dropping to a 50 or even 45 profile and wondered what you get on with! :grin:

Finally got round to changing my dollars from Vegas back to Pounds, and thought I'd treat myself to some cams. So, who? Which ones? Any other mods to support them ie. rod bolts etc? Any other info appreciated!

Does anyone else find the standard lights are piss poor? Do any of you run uprated lamps? Can you use HID kits on Pumas? Ben.

Thinking out loud really, but how much are you looking at to build a genuine 200bhp SE lump? I've got a hankering for some ITB's but may as well go the whole hog... A parts list would be nice too :wink:

So whilst I've been working on the Puma over the past few weeks, the battery has lost it's oomph, won't turn over. So bunged a charger on it and there's now a clicking sound that sounds as if it's coming from the fusebox inside, with the indicator lights on the dash flashing at the same time...

As above, it's for the passenger side so doesn't need to be a Cobra Revolution! 4 point harness preferred. Up to £100 for the pair ideally, don't mind traveling but I'm not desperate. Ben.

What size spacers would I need to fit some mk5 ZS wheels? I'm struggling to find any Thunder wheels and ZS wheels are aplenty..

After gutting the whole interior, I'll only be running a single bucket seat. So after removing what I assume are the pre-tensioners, I have a seatbelt warning on the dash flashing at me. How do people get around this? Ben.

I'm fabbing up my own system for the Pooma, got a length of 316 coming into work next week for it but I'm struggling to find any decent universal back boxes that I can use? I have thought about just running a silencer from Jetex and then weld a small piece of tube on for a tip as such. Any ideas?

I'm after.. Coilovers, not too fussed on brand as long as they're of reasonable quality and in useable condition. Multispoke (Thunder?) alloys. Fast road cams, LMS3 or FRP equivalent. Another bucket seat and 4 point harness. Let me know what you've got :thumbs:
