So I’ve had my Millenium motd couple weeks ago.It passed with nothing major mentioned.Have owned this one about 7 years?.Used it about 2-3 years ago for a year and considering it’s just stood around either outside or in a carport it looks ok from about 10’🙁

Don’t drive Pumas very often but I thought one of the nicest features of the car is the noise from the engine.So I think the idea is just silly.

Would try standard discs with Carbonne Lorraine pads(think that’s spelt right).If they make a pad for Puma they come in different grades RC5 and RC6 I think.They are very noisy but can be driven hard on track all day with no fade

Have just removed front calipers from Sons 1999 Puma.I fitted these years ago and they are fiesta st150.54mm piston.I’ve stripped them and both the piston and the calipers bore is knackered.Any recommendations for a supplier of refurbished or remanufactured please.

Difference between Pumas and early escorts is Pumas are a nice to drive road car and escorts were world class leading rally /race cars.Pumas have no competition heritage.

Well your car,your choice.But Personally I’d feel a bit of a tit driving it,Just my opinion.

Best upgrade is to get on some track days where they have competent driving instructors.I ve been in a couple of heavily modified Pumas years ago with stupid fat tyres and lots of unusable BHP and they felt awful with corrupt steering and understeer.
