I checked the oil level today and it is clean and just over 1cm under the hole. the oil is thin compared to what I normally call gearbox oil - ep80 etc - but I guess its just modern oils that are more advanced.

hi, I've just purchased another door handle off ebay to replace the chipped & scratched one on my puma but I cant work out how to remove the existing one. do you have to take the glass out to get to the screws ?

after inspection today is seems that the breather has indeed been put on the wrong way as the arrow was pointing to the rear instead of forward. I shall clean around the area and put it back in the right way. is there any way of checking the level of the gearbox to see if it has lost some oil...

the car was born dry before the clutch was changed so that will rule out the rocker gasket, where is the gearbox breather situated as i'll check tomorrow and is it obvious which way it should go ?

hi there, I've had the front struts out on my puma which resulted in me un plugging the wire to the abs sensor, when I put it all back together again the abs light stays on now. is this normal, does it have to be reset or have I damaged something ??
