    My Cat C Puma

A quick update, my rear box failed last week and it sounded like a big bore exhaust with the mpg being mega bad. Here is an example of the mpg on Friday last. I put in 10 litres in the morning and by today I was running fumes. But I got a new back box and got it installed. Now it sounds a lot...

    It lives again!!!!!

Looks good and sounds good! After nearly 2 years of hard work, you have done a 110% job on your Puma and the dedication as shown in your work. Hopefully, my Puma will be in a body shop after Christmas having new arches and a new of green paint. Any plans for doing another Puma?

    My Cat C Puma

Right, I'm dragging my thread back up from the dead due to a pain in the butt situation which happened on Monday. On Monday, I had 2 tyre blowouts driving home and I'm lucky it happened at a junction. I looked at the tyres and they were very bald inside and you could see the metal. Well, the...

What parts are worth having off a scrap Puma?

The glass if possible is to save it. Take the door glass out and you may need it one day. The other glass will have to go with the shell or taken out by a windscreen fitter. If I see bits in a breakers for a Puma, which I don't need, I pick them up and save them for a "just in case". The...

    What made your day today?

Well, I won a pair of tickets at Rockingham for one of it's club race weekends. So I asked my friend does she want to go with her kids with me because her son, who is 2, loves cars and he will love it. A good deed done and planned! :-)

    Hello fellow puma peeps

Welcome to club! I use to live in Hastings for bit. Well it was St Leonard's but I had to move back up north due to family issues. Parts for the Puma are reasonable and most parts for it are the same as the MK4/5 Fiesta. Rust around the rear arches is a common issue for the Puma but there is a...

    My first puma

You love it! Put it this way, my Puma is very quick from a standing still at traffic lights and going round corners. As long you maintain the car, you have a many very happy driving with it. It is better looking than it's Vauxhall rival, the Tigra (ewwww!). Anyway welcome to the club!

    Guy reversed into me!

I think the insurance company is trying to rip you off. Fix it yourself with a matching door from a breakers in the right colour and then tell them you do it yourself and this will save you nearly £1300.
