Finally got time to replace my inlet manifold gasket. Just looking through the procedure here, and there's scant detail on the stages for slackening and removing drive belt and re-fitting and tensioning drive belt. Do I need to read up on another part of the manual, or what?

It pops open fine, when you actuate the lever under the steering column, and I can locate the yellow lever with my fingers, under the front of the bonnet, but try as I might, that lever is not freeing the bonnet, so it can be raised. Never had a problem before. It's a 2001.
