Pumba is in the process of having a new gearbox and rear beam bushes. I've found a job closer to home - Service Advisor for Renault, wanted to come away from sales

Sorry i've not been on in a couple of months - simply because i've been pretty busy at work, had a lot going on in my personal life and probably mainly because Tom's had Pumba since Ford Fair... lol But I'll be starting a new job in a couple of weeks and will be getting Pumba back soon too...

When the garage changed the cambelt they *should* have changed the full cambelt kit which includes the belt, pulleys and tensioners. But saying that I had my cambelt kit changed and it was actually a faulty tensioner that killed the engine - not something the garage didn't change or missed, and...

damn those old plugs are looking a bit oily.. your rocker gaskets not leaking is it?

^^^ This happened to mine aswell, however it wasn't a grinding noise, more of a sort of flapping noise like the sound of paper in a fan... but it was at the same 1800/2000 revs and had the same outcome. Did in 8 of my 16 valves and had to have the head rebuilt. Without trying to panic you...

Weolcome to ProjP :ok: It is unfortunate the amount of dying pumas there are in the world today.. but you can have a better peace of mind that if you find one on here you know it's (hopefully!) been well looked after. Otherwise try the general car shopping sites like autotrader.co.uk etc...

Even if Ford produced a batch with yellow wing mirrors, its probably unlikely you will find a second hand set in yellow. Your best bet might be to just get another random mirror and have it painted yellow to match
