Ah yes, it was very late and I was tired, I meant the opposite, apologies. I have since adjusted so the bottom balljoint on the drop link sits in the middle of the driveshaft and A arm, will just see if that fouls on track and adjust as needed. For road use it is fine.
Ps Thanks for replying chap.
I never have time to look at logged in dates...Mocal do a nice kit for £170 that will be turnkey and they offer 80c and 92c stats. Don't want to kill my lovely engine on 108k miles on its first track day this year or next! Doesn't burn oil and is sweet. Have looked after it. Will install gauges...
I am fitting double din, I removed plastic underneath clock, it is tight, very tight, have left about 1-2mm under clock...At the heater I removed screws for clearance and tie wrapped. You need good basic hand skills in engineering to make it work.
Hi all,
I have set my drop links to inbetween the suspension A arm and drive shaft to prevent collision, what have other people done when fitting lowering springs or GAZ kits?
Basically I had to increase the length of mine by 30 - 40mm approximately.

Hi all,
Has anyone changed these pipes, the one that runs and bolts to AC and back again to the rack. My union tightens no problem but pisses fluid as pipe not tight.

Has anyone seen an improvement on a remap FRP or otherwise as just fitted a Direnza 4-2-1 with 2 1/4 exhaust with a decat pipe and cat replaceable.
I have a 1 lambda and tape ecu I beleive.
Hi there,
I have a 2000 W reg 1.7. I was told engine has cams and map? I have 1 x lambda and guess its tape ecu? Can you just read the map and tell me what it is?
I have a W57UGM plate car sept 2000 so no idea whether mine is tape or otherwise. What do you mean early tape ecu has two maps? How are these accessed and chosen.
