red Administrator Staff member Joined Oct 3, 2007 Messages 12,011 Location Cambridgeshire Mar 18, 2008 #3 Mine drops to 0 very occasionally. Found it's because the needle gets a bit temperamental. Give it a tap and hey-presto. Yours does sound like the cable though acting up though.

DradusContact Active member Joined Mar 10, 2008 Messages 2,487 Mar 18, 2008 #4 Everything else was ok. It didnt jutter or anything, it dropped very quickly, but very smoothly. Been fine since, a mate of mine said his mondeo used to do it every now and then, and lack of use was a culprit.
