Air Box Bolts

This is my first ever post! Im new to the Puma world, but have just got myself a 2000 X reg 1.7. Im doing a couple of jobs to get it ready for the road, but im already stuck with a little problem.

Im putting in a new air filter which I thought would be a 2 min job. Ive got a few torx bits (the screwdriver heads that look like stars) but they're all either too big or too small to fit the bolts holding the air box together. Before I go out and buy a million different sized torx bits, does anybody happen to know what size I need?

The size of bit you need is a CR-VT-25! Thats the bit I just tried, and it fits on mine.

Don't over tighten the screws, as easy easy to strip the plastic thread in the airbox.

if in doubt replace with posi head stainless wood screws!

2"x8's should be ok or use 10's, but drill out the holes in top of the airbox but not the bottom so its easier to get them screwed in

Mine had (still has) stainless self tappers in it.
