C corley Member Joined Mar 10, 2011 Messages 107 Location Northamptonshire Sep 1, 2014 #2 middle on temp gauge is normal The back of the engine is where your exhaust manifold is and it is very hot, but its mainly covered with heat shield apart from the very direct top where the lambda sensor goes. Overall seems fine.
