Mate of mine fitted one with those little upturned bits on is Golf R32 - protected the bonnet well but sent all the stones up to the roofline / windscreen intersections chipping all that instead.

If you buy a car it picks up stone chips unless you never drive it (in which case what did you buy the car for?) Eventually the front looks a bit crap. Nothing Chips Away can't fix for about the price of a bonnet bra.

If you buy a car and fit it with a bra, it looks crap straight away.
