Very nice! I personally wouldn't have gone for the DSG box, as I've read too many stories on the TT forum of how much they cost to repair/replace if the mechatronic unit fails. :? But many people love it, so it's whatever suits you I guess.

If you've joined up with any of the owner's clubs, keep an eye open for the show at Stanford Hall in May, as that's a pretty good day out. We were there this year with my TT.

Yeah DSG failures hurt your wallet. I took a Dodge Journey (VAG engine/box) to an auto tranny specialist and they just said they can't fix them, only way is a whole new box. Thankfully wasn't my car.

Far better than a Civic though. I'm sure the earlier models were good, but the FN2 is shit.

I am already suffering at the hands of the DSG gods... the car went into limp mode last week and it might require a new mechatronic unit. Fortunately the car is under warranty with the dealer/warranty wise so Im just going through the process of getting it diagnosed and then fixed.

It might even just be thats it overdue its next DSG service... which it is but after speaking to a VW technician they've recommended getting it checkout as well.

Other than that its a great car and the DSG is one of my favourite things about it.

You've no idea how much better than the Civic this is! Its 1,000,000% better! The interior is the best part! Its not quite as fancy as the Civic but everything is laid out perfectly.
