Cigarette lighter doesnt work

is it simple to fix?? plugged my pogo alert into it today and it doesnt work, how i work out if its a wiring problem or the actual plug socket itself??

plus how hard difficult to fix?? electrics really isnt my forte

need to check the fuse, and voltage going into the plug.

also many devices have a fuse in the plug to protect the equipment so check that too.

it is fuse F1 bottom row first on left in central junction box.

Sometimes the plugs work loose, other times its problem with the socket which is a simple fix from ford.
