I changed two hoses yesterday that were corroded and leaking. One was the coolant resevoir oveflow, the other came from the right side of the hcv into the engine near the spark plugs. (Right side if your standing in front of the car looking at it)
Anyway, the coolant that poured out was a golden syrup type solution that was sticky, more like oil than water. It has left a mark on the pavement were it ran down the street (street is a slight gradient) to a grid that was still there this morning. Is this normal? And also, how can i drain the entire coolant system and put fresh water in?
Thankyou!
