Had the pleasure of pestering Caz and Dunc at the weekend over in Anglesey (unfortunately for them). The motor club (warringtonDMC) they are in were organising the Enville stages rally over on Anglesey and I went along to enjoy some of the action.
I went over there the night before and enjoyed a couple of beers with them before camping the night with a relatively early start (for me on a Sunday anyway )
I think the idea was for me to enjoy myself snapping the action while the two of them were responsible for logging all the times and printint the running results during the day, with me perhaps doing the odd task for them so that I was allowed up in the control booth thingy. As it turns out I ended up helping out more than I expected due to the circumstances and it was a really interesting day, seeing a motorsport event from the other side, hearing the MSA guy organising the marshalls (who do a great job), the recovery guys and the ambulance which was sadly needed for one incident but thankfully it seems a broken rib or two might have been the worst of the injuries. I was able to get out a couple of times to grab some shots of the cars there, but couldn't get all of them. Hopefully got a nice selection of shots though.
Anyway, thanks to Caz and Dunc for putting up with me throughout the day and here are some of the pictures. I'm sure some of you will like some of the good 'old skool' rally cars along with some newer bits of machinery, including a few ex-WRC cars.
I'm ashamed to say I actually liked the corsa but also loved the mad little C2s, cool escorts and sunbeams, and especially the mental popping, banging and flame spitting yellow scooby (ex-colin McCrae car)
The rest of the pictures are here:

Anyway, enough waffle, on with the pictures
and Finally that scooby:
Sometimes it shot flame out the back
But other times it was just a huge cloud of black smoke
