HAS ANYONE PUT THERE PUMA ON A DYNO? If so what results did you get?
What bhp did you get and at what rpm?

This was my first Puma 1.7...one of the first to be chipped and with one of the early (and lovely looking/sounding) Mongoose SS cat back exhausts.

If you think there aren't many tuning bits for the Puma now, try 8 years ago... :?

Its strange from alot of specifications websites to puma produces 123bhp @ 6000rpm which clearly doesn't not from alot of graphs ive seen.

Sorry ive just took another look at that pic it does...sorry it confusing with all the different markings and the same colour!

The original printout was black and white- I coloured it to make it easier to read!

In general I'd take any dyno reading as approximate...it's really only useful to use the figures for relative rather than absolute readings. In this case the car was dynoed before and after mods were fitted, on the same day at the same place by the same operator. That's the most reliable way to see any improvements.

Yeah i agree, ive seen some people try crazy mods and different ideas which some work and some don't! Like your say same place same day is always best!

Increasing tyre pressure can give better dyno readings for starters
