Heated rear screen broken earth?

Hi guys,

The eathing strap has become detached from
rear hested screen, where it actualy connects
to glass. I can see 2 metal pads that it was fixed to on glass, tried soldering back on no joy.
Local garage advised theres se specialist glue that ford used which has metal particles in it & conducts electricity?
Any one heard of this or had same problem?

you used to be able to by silver conductive paint from maplin to repair broken heater elements on rear screens, you might be able to use that to make a contact if you can get the tag to stick back in place (maybe superglue or epoxy resin)

There is also a sticky copper 'tape' which I've used before to bridge over a burnt section of copper electrical track. It did the job!

Ive found something on ebay called wire glue
which looks like it moght work fir £7.45 gonna buy thst today will let you know how it works.
