Hi all,
I've just purchased a Millenium (can anyone confirm the spelling?) so thought I'd join a couple of forums, already found them very helpful and friendly - my Puma came with personalised reg 'JIG' so easily recognisable if you see any Millies in the Colchester/Stansted area!
I can't find the production number on the car anywhere which is a shame, I know it's a X reg. Otherwise I am very pleased with it, no rust, low mileage, quick to heat up on the cold mornings. The interior mirror fell off today though and I can never get the seatbelt in without looking!
Before this I had a Peugeot 205 CTI, I had been looking for another convertible, but I realised nothing really took my eye (nothing sensible anyway!) so I looked at hardtops, and the Puma came to mind, which I had always liked the shape of. Seen someone's photoshop job of a Puma soft top which was interesting!
I've always been into classic cars, grew up with old Bedford trucks and steam engines. One day I will have a vintage vehicle alongside my main car, but for now the Puma appealed to me as something a little different, but also a sensible daily drive - I've always done car shows and road runs etc, great fun/beer! and I know there is a good Ford show at Battlesbridge as I've been with a mate's Cortina Carousel - and through the forums I've also found the Fiesta in the Park show, but if there's any other good ones that Pumas can attend let me know, Bromley Pageant etc??
Cheers,
Shaun
