How to create and Host a Free Forum.

Guys I need some advice and guidence please

I want to set up a forum and I need advice on were to host, what to use and how to use it?

Few things- Ideally I'd like to use free hosting (not great I know but the only option I have)

I'd also like to make it easy to use and easy to edit for me (I've not created a site/ forum before)

All advise will be greatly recived please

How much have you looked into it?

Doesn't look that difficult at first glance... (famous last words!)

I run a forum with freeforums.org. The admin interface takes a little thought, but to be fair is as simple as any other that I have used before. There are a couple of new ideas to get your head around that you may not have come across before. but once you understand them its a doddle. There are help forums if you get stuck too. Up time has been 100% so far in the two years that we have used it. Highly recommended.
If you have your own website and a spare MySQL database then it is surprisingly simple to integrate a PHPBB3 forum into it, but you would need a certain amount of technical "nouse" to achieve that.
Best idea is to have a Google (as Cherie says) and sign up for some forums and have a play, they are free after all! See which one you feel comfortable with.

Yeah I did google it, but I found there to be so many options I was abit over whelmed and decided it to ask if anyone had any advice or had used them before
