A friend in Germany gave me this tip.

(Applies to none heated but will speed things up for both)
Turning over the car, and blowers on warm/hot - put both sun-visors down on the windscreen. This deflects the hot air back down the windscreen, therefore clearing it quicker.

Sometimes the simplest things...

Just remember to fold them back up if its dark

Mods I didn't know where to put this tip but if you think of a betterer place move it :)

Only problem with that is it takes time to get the engine warm enough to blow hot air ;) Luke warm water is the quickest way ... and no, I have never cracked a screen that way.

PS - I always have my visors down ... day or night

Just stick an old blanket over the car windscreen at night, always seems to do the trick!

Yep warm water is the way forward :D

Thats a good tip tho Tina! :eek:k:

Thank you :) bonus the car is less chilly too. By the time ive scraped the side windows we are clear to go!

:( Minus 10 last night...brrrr.... Warm water just freezes back on so its a no go for me, id be worried of cracking the glass.

Now...just need to figure how to insulated the hens drinker.
