I fitted one at the weekend. I just used parts I had lying about. It cost me a fiver for the blue pipe and another 8 quid for the cam cover breather filter.

I removed the complete air box then cut out a section of plastic from a ford transit battery cover. Then I cut a hole out for the original induction pipe to sit in. I then put the other end of the pipe near the bumper grill.

then I fitted a piper cross cone filter.

A shot of the engine now.

The car defo feels more responsive and the induction sound is really addictive.

Cool. Good job, did you sort yourself out an oil breather filter now your rid of the airbox?

If you look at the red wire on the battery you can see the cam breather.

Where did you get the blue silicon tube for the air filter. Wouldn't mind one my self

I can't remember. Ive just had a look on amazon and I cant find it
