From looking at his eBay shop, I suspect he is a guy in Golders Green. If he is, I had a key for a Peugeot off him at a fair price: it was working 3 years later when I sold the car but he did the work.
On the item in question, the soldering bit would be a challenge for me, those microswitches don't look easy.
