Mad vibrations

Had my puma for about a month now and, apart from spraying all its oil out a knackered rocker cover gasket, its been brilliant.
However, the whole car vibrates when under load (giving it some stick in the higher gears or going up hill). I have a theory it could be the inner cv joints but has anyone else had this problem before? If its something stupid like an engine or gearbox mount, it could save me a couple of new driveshafts!

I had a vibration under acceleration but became more severe when also turning left.
Also at speed, it got to the point where the whole car was vibrating.

Turned out the inner driveshaft bearing.CV joint was shot:
