I noticed for a while now how the the puma seems to rev high at tickover, and on other occasions it sits perfect at arund 950 - 975RPM. from cold it always revs fairly high but takes a while to drop down.

Anyway I removed the houseing for the MAF sensor and managed to get a few pictures off, It seems there is two small sensor wires in the MAF! one behind the other, both looked brown to me but after a few sprays of Carb cleaner it polished them up a bit, it seems to have made a difference with the tickover when warm/hot but boy does it still run high when cold at around 1500RPM, is this normal?

nice one dodge40  It seems a waste of fuel for the time its ticking over a 1500RPM, it takes a good minute or more before it finally drops down below 1000RPM.
