12.9 miles

fastest recorded is 6.47 in a Pagani Zonda R http://www.autojunk.nl/2010/07/pagani-zonda-r-recordronje-op-de-nurburgring" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; average speed 114mph

this is quite handy for working an average speed http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/speed_distance_time_calc.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Think I did Bridge to Gantry in about 10 mins. I didn't accurately time myself, but that's what the clock on the car timed me at. So could have been 9.01 or 10.59 :lol: I was certainly getting more confidence and picking the line better after the 8th lap round though :eek:k:

The second you start timing your laps the more you'll come off trying to go that much faster.

You kinda know when you have done a good lap hooking up apex's and carrying your speed through bends :D

I recorded a few laps and the camera digi time recorded a 9.38 in my 1.7 Puma.

its not really about the laptimes, and they don't encourage you to time yourself!

Sorry? Its ALL about the lap times!! :lol: They are not going to 'encourage' speeding but we all know its all about how fast you can get round the circuit. Its definatley on my to-do list! Not had the time to go yet.

for me, its the experience of driving the circuit, rather then how close I came to stoving the car :)

Stefan Bellof's 6:11.13 in 1983 stands as the fastest I think, (Porsche 956, Extreeemly Hairy!! Even a Zonda can't beat it now!!!)
