Power Steering Fluid Advice

HI, Which power steering should I be using. After my car cut out in full steering lock I realised the fluid was way low. My manuals are in spanish.

What fluid can I use. I found some automatic trans fluid spec M2C-33G. Something in my head tells me sometimes auto tans fluid and power steering can be same?

Bare in mind this is and rusty Y reg that isn't gonna be restored. It is the 17 VCT but too much rust to even think about really.

Hello Joe.

The two fluids are probably very similar (I have put power steering fluid in a bottle jak before today without isue)
But...
your power steering is helping you drive in a straight line at all sorts of legal speeds..
So pop in a car shop and ask the guy for power steering fluid. Therte is one type and its made for the job.
as you only need a litre at most (probably half), it isn`t expensive..

Just cant help trying to save a pound here or there when the opportunity arises lol. Anybody wanna buy a half use bottle of auto trans fluid? jk lol
