Puma front subframe

I have a 36,000 mile 2001 1.7 Puma,the front subframe just scraped through the MOT last week due to excessive corrosion,my mate who tested it said he had never seen one as rusty,the rest of the car (arches,sills etc) is rust free.My question is,are the subframes the same on all model years of Puma,s or am I looking for a specific one?

Ditto, but also various Fiesta use the same (as do Escort vans according to my Ford dealer).
