Retro fit passenger air bag

Anyone know if I can just bolt a passenger air bag in? I'm assuming the dash panel is different depending on whether you have the airbag or not.

Does the dual airbag setup use a different sensor/sender unit or is it a common one for all cars?

My car is a late 2000/Y 1.7 Lux I think.

I wouldn't bother, the airbags are all out of date now, not sure if that's a big deal, but you know, its not great. Also, they are basically explosives, so you wouldn't want to get the installation wrong.

I mean the passenger airbag isn't such a big deal, just put the seat all the way back so theres nothing for people to hit their head on
