Heard this on the radio 1 news on the way home and although there may be a big problem, some of the sound bites just made me angry.

one of them had a list of things they had to replace shortly after buying a car.......one of them was over £200 on tyres......FFS if you buy a new car and don't check the condition of the tyres you only have yourself to blame.

another guy had a turbo go on the way home from picking it up, and there was no mention of him going back to the dealer (the article was regarding dealers only from what I could tell), just that he took it somewhere else and spent £3000 fixing it when he bought it for something like £2000

I agree completely on the tyres - it's an obvious thing to check.

Yes just my thoughts Paul, and the head gasket that went on the way home from the purhase, surely there would have been symptoms showing?!
