I love my Puma, needs so much tlc to its body and now I have managed to scratch the dash with one of my stupid I can carry anything in my car acts!! A 6 foot piece of kitchen worktop!.. any ideas for reducing my sorrow and shame?

PS Have already predicted someone will suggest buying a van lol

Perhaps disguising it with something like a phone bracket or other accessory or gel badge ?
Or replacing the dash (should be fairly cheap as they are not that in demand) ?
Or covering it with flock or suede or alcantara ?

or this

i used to have a Mk1 1300e escort many moons ago and i used old blue fluffy seat covers and copydex to cover the dash in that, looked really good. (better that fluffy dice that everyone else had at the time)

A jacked up mk1 escort was the first real life custom car I ever saw, must have handled like a pig, ahh the good old days :)

i went the other way and lowered it, went and handled like a dream but not as good as my mates mk1, that was lowered on 225's and had a 2.1 pinto

The good old Pinto, no tricky timing belt probs there. Yeah I remember the lowering blocks that used to go on the leaf springs

I had a love affair with Rs's sports mexicos, harriers etc back in the day.

Got the None airbag cover plate from Ian G which got rid of the deepest parts of the scratches, now to work on the finer bits somehow.....

any reason why you have signed your post with the reg and model of your car lol? thats worse then the elitist frp owners signing posts with there #

I must have too many elitists frp owner friends now lol No reason forthe Thunder but really, but was sort of hoping that using the reg would mean that there might be a few more Loughbourough owners pop out of the woodwork lol

Of course I might get a map of the M25 to put on the back instead of the Nurburgring, but it will take me more that 9.4 mins!! hey to be honst Steve it would take me 19.40 I reckon unless i was being towed by one of my frp buddies lol

Hey thinking about it, will now check out the records for M25 lol.....
