Im putting new repeaters on, but concerned they wont be as bright - MOT due next month.

Any clues on good bulbs - all round if you like. I'd like to fit extra bright headlight bulbs then brake and indicators. Has anyone fitted and can recommend good buys which give good results?

Ta!

I have smoked repeaters with normal bulbs, been through the MOT with no qualms. The new repeaters usually come with a couple of bulbs which will do the job just fine :eek:k:

Halfords super bright bulbs are recommended for the head lights from memory :D

I'd not bother spending much on the rest of them if they are a bit dim then just replace them with stick originals as they're probably just old and tired.

which smoked repeaters did u get nippy, i seen a few on ebay, are they all the same?

Yeah happysan they are all the same :)

Both me pumas got through MOT with smoked side repeaters and standard bulbs Tina :D

Don't buy the first ones you see, some are up for £16 + postage the ones I got were only £11 with the postage and the ones I got are brill.

Hi Tina

Anything to do with lights always gets my attention!! :D Here are my recommendations:

Headlights: Pure White Super Brilliance Xenon Bulbs (from Halfords).
Brake Lights: Halfords QR High Intensity Brake Light Bulbs.
Indicators: Silvatec Indicator Bulbs that look Silver but Flash Amber (from Halfords).

Mark :)

Thanks for the input guys! Steve got me the pair from his online dealer, we ordered 2 lots for his car and mine, as he has changed from clear to smoked.

Im having fun at the mo' as thought looking for lights easy! Ill get the Super Brilliance Xenon bulbs, leave the brake lights as not too bad, and change the indi's with the bulbs in the pack.

The cross my fingers for the old bus!
