soo confused. wheel offset

As it suggests I'm stuck,, I need. Help working out the offset I need to look for in my new wheels, doing an frp conversion front has 32mm spacers and rear has 30mm axel spacers with focus hubs (disk conversion) if someone can shed some light tha. Be great thank you guys!!!

Hi,
If it is any help to you; with 30mm spacers on the front of my Puma using a Focus ST170 7"rim with a 49mm offset with a 205/40/17 tyre, the tyre is bang on the edge of the wheel arch with no protrusion. So using the 49mm offset as datum zero you can work out projection as a plus or minus depending on your wheel offset.

I have found the above very usful for calculating wheel and tyre sizes.

Is that standard arches or frp thanks Darren

The rear disc setup will give you an extra 11mm each side.

Hi Darren,
That is with standard arches, with the same set up on the rear plus a 12.5 mm axel spacer the tyre is again bang on the outside edge of the arch.
