Hello,

i want to change my antiroll bush by powerflex bush,

it's need to remove the subframe, i know there are some tool to center/put in the right position the subframe.

i search on google,

but it's look like no available ...

someone know were i can buy it ?

or if someone the dimensions of this tool, i can build it .

Thanks

I recently tried to use these very alignment pins. (borrowed and very very hard to find)
and I found they didn`t quite fit!

Thankfully, as it turns out aligning the subframe is not rocket science.

The pins are to line up two pairs of holes, one in the cars body, one in the subframe, on either side.
By simply letting the subrame hang loose on all 6 bolts and tightening them very slowly and evenly I found I could get it pretty much spot on by eye.

Here`s a pic of the alignment holes after I`d refitted my subframe.

This is one of the pins I first tried to use.

Afterwards i was told that using a 1/2" drive socket makes things even easier...

Many thanks :eek:k:

if the special tool don't fit, i think it's simple to try to build and use an home made tool

i am agree it's dont need a surgical precision, but don't forget the subframe position have on importance on the parallelism, camber and caster angle

Hi, I didn't need to drop the subframe when I changed my ARB. Managed to get an old cranked ring spanner onto the bolts, was fiddly and took patience.
I did have to realign the subframe because of accident damage (previous owner) but did it in combination with specialist geometry check to get the camber angles, then basic trigonometry to see how far I had to go.
