long story sort, had my puma six weeks ish now, when got it i knew she needed some love cash and time so put her right, been getting some other bits done, full serv, brakes, discs, alloy referb, and just done front wishbones gen ford and powerflex bushes because other bushes had gone and whishbones where none gen , befor work done both front wheels were going bold on the inside but drove fine and pal said that would have been the old bushes pushing the wheels out, work now done and had the tracking done , steering wheel not lined up right? lad at the place said the steering arm may be bent? ment to be driving to wales over the weekend ! is she safe???? help

Was it off centre before you went in?

If not i'd say they didn't centre the steering wheel properly whilst doing your tracking.. (adjusting the toe?)..

Could be worn parts though.. i'd say driving it will be safe but may add additional wear to already worn parts...

Then i've not had an awful lot of exposure to this problem so i'll stick with my suggestion and bow out for someone else to come along!

yea steering wheel was right befor and went back when i had gone about a mile down the road, some one elce looked at it and said it was realy out agen??? and the garage is where we get our rx-8 tyres fitted tracked at work, and they are not a back street place

Are you running on std 15" wheels and 195/50 tyres? The inside edges on 17" can wear prematurely just because the steering geometry isn't designed for them (and they're wider)

yea stand wheels and tyres, was going to change wheels but the ones i want are £500+tyres so living that for a bit
