Does anybody know what the transistor on the heater control panel is code PH~number~number~ 52-10A, I think it comes up as a silicon rectifier or something.

I went to RS Components and a merkin guy was reluctant to help as I needed an account with them like business or student. Anyway I think he came round and felt obligated to try which was ok.

I think it would be nice to be able to fix these things before they become hard to replace the panels.

Wish I had a picture, I will get one tomorrow when its not so dark if I can.

Oh I also found another post by googleing in another forum that might be similar http://passionford.com/forum/technical-help-q-and-a/310537-fiesta-heater-circuit-component.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if that helps.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Wilge
I think he is referring to the actual heater control panel components.
When they fail it's probably a common fault and would be well worth finding out if the faulty component can be replaced rather than the whole panel.
