water temperature sensor

hi, does anyone know which pin is live on the water temperature sensor?

Just had a look at mine ('98)

Black wire feeds the 'live'. Should be 5v from the ECU. The other with the red stripe should be the return to the ECU.

thanks mate,ive tapped a second sensor in but didnt know which was live and earth i havent got a battery on the car and i cant find my tester :roll: i will have a look tomorrow to see if my std one has the same colors as yours and see which number the live is on the plug. cheers
