Windows buttons are hot

I noticed something strange and I want to know if this is normal or it should be checked.

After 15-30 minutes of driving I noticed that the driver side buttons are getting hot. I'm not saying that you can't touch them but keeping your hand there for 10 seconds is getting uncomfortable. Is this normal or should I take the door panel out in order to see what is happening there. Have someone experienced something similar?

Could you be more specific? Do you mean the buttons on the door for the windows? I wonder if it is the contacts on the buttons need cleaning as they might be shorting ever so slightly.
