Minor thing really but something ive always thought the car needed, my k reg escort had it for gawds sake.

In the fiesta it goes on the gearlever surround (got one on my Fez). Not sure where it would go on a Puma, but I think it's criminal it doesn't have one.

You could make a hole for it in the trim to to the drivers seat on the right. My question is more related to would it open the boot?

It took alot of effort to find and post it. Tired now. I hope i dont have to open my boot later i may collapse.

should work as the auction states....just gotta splice it into the right wires.....

finding a 'home' for it will be hardest....

the only place to trace the wires is from the rear boot open switch. you will have to remove loads of trim to follow the wire....

Zara's the best member on here to do that as all the trim from her other puma is already out :p she can trace the wire from the boot easily ;)

I find that the boot button does not work when it's in the ignition. You actually have to turn off the engine and remove the key to open the boot.

Who desined that?! Probably the same person who designed the lights and parcel shelf.

That's so people can't open your boot in a line of traffic in the high street. It also stops you accidentally opening it when your at speed on the motorway for example.

The Puma's boot closes itself at speeds above about 25mph :)

It acts like an air brake up until then.. lol
