Gah! Lack of time and family commitments have forced my hand at last and the time has come to sell my beloved Puma.

It's a 1.7 with 97,000 miles on the clock which has performed superbly as everyday transport for the last 3 months and has had a lot of work carried out. Everything works as it should; Windows close smoothly, Aircon cools as it should (was re-commissioned and re-gassed a short while ago) and even the electric front seat and the headlight levelling still works perfectly.

It has MOT till the end of October (just enough to get you home) and Tax until the end of December.

Bad bits first...

- Plenty of the usual Puma rot - some in the rear wheel arches (better than many of this age though) and sills need work although they may well still pass an MOT with a bit of luck.
- Passenger door is a bit banged up and there is a small dent on the bonnet.
- Anti roll bar bushes need replacing - parts will be included in the sale.
- Exhaust back box is in the process of losing its first skin - A genuine Ford exhaust with less than 20,000 miles on it is included in the sale.
- Some water ingress into the foot wells (although much of this has been reduced – see project thread).
- Overall, what can only reasonably described as tatty paintwork wise as the previous owner seemed to find parking a challenge. This is far from a concours condition!!
- That flipping parcel shelf!!!

Good bits...

- Money thrown at it for the last 9 months...
- Four matching Falken 912 tyres with minimal wear
- Later larger Puma front brakes with HEL braded lines
- Front suspension refresh including some new-ish front shocks (less than 20,000 on them), drop links, wishbones, top mounts and bearings all fitted using new Ford supplied bolts.
- Aitcon serviced (dryer replaced) and re-gassed.
- Plenty of service history
- Evidence of Cambelt change at 76,000 miles
- The all important Scubasteve polished gear knob.
- Connects2 mp3 connection (Alpine 6 disc multi-changer included with sale if wanted)
- Engine runs without fault and is returning a solid 39 mpg.

Really going to miss this brilliant little car but it has to go to a good home.

£550 or very near offer.

P.M if interested! Car is located in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex.

Hi, any chance of some pictures showing the rust on the sills please? I could be quite interested having read the project thread
