remove bumper and drop it down to me dude im sure i could do summet with that as long as arch clips are in tact... failing the clips in tact would mean you would need another bracket attatched to fix or in fact bond it..

i really wouldnt replace genuine with grp parts, they never fit right and will need no end of prep work to get them perfect normally. id stick with the metal and just treat it properly and treat it once... treat inner arch linings and seal them, cut out all rust and a good bit extra around it...

cheers guys iv decdided to treat the areas for now and get them cut out and repaired and painted etc all at the same time now.. found a good bodyshop that does insurance work and works on modified cars too so ideal for me and the fact he is doing insurance work on bently, ferrari, audi, and merc...

Very good progress so far. What's the plans for the engine then? Are you doing the 1.7 mods or are you going for a different engine and more power 
